நெய்வேலி சுரங்கங்களில் உற்பத்தி பாதிப்பு | Production Affected at Neyveli Mines
தமிழ்நாடு, நெய்வேலி பகுதியில் செயல்பட்டு வரும் நிலக்கரி சுரங்கங்களில் வெட்டும் பணி தற்காலிகமாக நிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. கனமழை காரணமாக சுரங்கப் பகுதிகளில் நீர் தேக்கம் ஏற்பட்டதை அடுத்து, பாதுகாப்பு காரணங்களுக்காக இந்த நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டதாக நிர்வாகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
கடலூர் மாவட்டம் நெய்வேலி என்எல்சி சுரங்கங்களில் சுமார் 3 சுரங்கங்களில் நிலக்கரி வெட்டும் பணிகள் நிறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. தொழிலாளர்களின் பாதுகாப்பை கருத்தில் கொண்டு இயந்திரங்கள் இயக்கப்படாமல் நிறுத்தி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
மழை நிலை சீரானதும் நீர் அகற்றும் பணிகள் முடிந்த பின் மீண்டும் உற்பத்தி தொடங்கப்படும் என அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர். இந்த தற்காலிக நிறுத்தம் மின் உற்பத்தியில் பெரிய பாதிப்பை ஏற்படுத்தாது என்றும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
Coal mining operations at Neyveli in Tamil Nadu have been temporarily halted due to water accumulation caused by heavy rainfall. Authorities said the decision was taken as a precautionary safety measure.
In the Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) mines located in Cuddalore district, coal extraction work has been stopped in three major mines. Machinery operations have been suspended to ensure worker safety.
Officials stated that mining activities will resume once the water is drained and weather conditions improve. They also assured that this temporary halt is not expected to significantly impact power generation.
