வடதமிழகம்–புதுச்சேரி பகுதிகளில் நிலவி வந்த காற்றழுத்த தாழ்வு மண்டலம் வலுவிழந்தது | Low pressure system over North Tamil Nadu–Puducherry weakens
2025 டிசம்பர் 3ஆம் தேதி நிலவரப்படி, வடதமிழகம் மற்றும் புதுச்சேரி கடற்பகுதிகளில் நிலவி வந்த காற்றழுத்த தாழ்வு மண்டலம் படிப்படியாக வலுவிழந்துள்ளதாக வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இதன் காரணமாக மழையின் தீவிரம் குறைய தொடங்கியுள்ளது.
அடுத்த 24 மணி நேரத்தில் இந்த காற்றழுத்த தாழ்வு பகுதி முழுமையாக கலைந்து, சாதாரண குறைந்த காற்றழுத்த பகுதியாக மாறும் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனால் கனமழை வாய்ப்பு குறையும் என்றும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இருப்பினும் சில இடங்களில் லேசானது முதல் மிதமான மழை தொடரலாம் என்றும், கடலோர பகுதிகளில் காற்றின் வேகம் படிப்படியாக குறையும் என்றும் வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
As of December 3, 2025, the low pressure system that prevailed over the North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coastal regions has weakened, according to the Meteorological Department. Due to this, the intensity of rainfall has started to reduce.
The system is expected to further weaken and dissipate into a normal low-pressure area within the next 24 hours. As a result, the chances of heavy rainfall will decrease.
However, light to moderate rain may still occur in a few places, and wind speed along the coastal areas is expected to gradually subside, the weather officials added.
