திருவண்ணாமலையில் மகா தீபம் வெற்றிகரமாக ஏற்றம் | Maha Deepam successfully lit at Tiruvannamalai
2025 டிசம்பர் 3 அன்று, தமிழர்களின் ஆன்மிக அடையாளமான திருவண்ணாமலை அண்ணாமலையார் மலை உச்சியில் மகா தீபம் பாரம்பரிய முறையில் ஏற்றப்பட்டது. ஆண்டுதோறும் கார்த்திகை தீப திருவிழாவின் முக்கிய நிகழ்வாக நடைபெறும் இந்த நிகழ்வை காண ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பக்தர்கள் திருவண்ணாமலையில் குவிந்தனர்.
இந்த ஆண்டு மகா தீபம் ஏற்றுவதற்காக 2,668 அடி உயர மலை உச்சிக்கு தீபம் கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டு, பாதுகாப்பு ஏற்பாடுகளுடன் தீபம் ஏற்றப்பட்டது. தீபம் ஏற்றப்பட்ட தருணத்தில் முழு திருவண்ணாமலை நகரமும் பக்தி முழக்கங்களால் அதிர்ந்தது.
மகா தீபத்தை தரிசிக்க தமிழகம் மட்டுமின்றி பிற மாநிலங்களிலிருந்தும் பக்தர்கள் வருகை தந்தனர். சட்டம்-ஒழுங்கு, தீயணைப்பு மற்றும் மருத்துவ வசதிகள் உள்ளிட்ட பாதுகாப்பு ஏற்பாடுகள் மாவட்ட நிர்வாகம் சார்பில் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தன.
On December 3, 2025, the Maha Deepam was ceremonially lit atop the Annamalai hill in Tiruvannamalai, a major spiritual landmark of Tamil Nadu. The event is the most significant ritual of the annual Karthigai Deepam festival and drew thousands of devotees to the temple town.
This year, the sacred flame was lit at the hilltop located 2,668 feet above ground level, following traditional customs and under strict safety arrangements. As the Maha Deepam was lit, chants and devotional celebrations echoed across Tiruvannamalai.
Devotees from across Tamil Nadu and other states gathered to witness the sacred moment. The district administration had made extensive arrangements, including police security, fire safety, and medical support, to ensure the smooth conduct of the festival.
