இலங்கை மீனவர் கைது விவகாரத்தில் கடும் எதிர்ப்பு | Strong Opposition Over Sri Lankan Fishermen Arrest Issue
சென்னையில் இருந்து புறப்பட்டு கடலுக்கு சென்ற தமிழக மீனவர்கள், இலங்கை கடற்படையினரால் மனிதாபிமானமற்ற முறையில் தடுத்து வைத்து, சட்டவிரோதமாக கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர். கைது செய்யப்பட்டவர்கள் தற்போது சிங்கையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தகவல் வெளியாகியுள்ளது.
இத்தகைய மனிதாபிமானமற்ற செயலுக்கு கண்டனம் தெரிவித்து,தமிழக மீனவர்களின் பாதுகாப்பிற்காக மத்திய அரசு உடனடி நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும் என அதிமுக பொது செயலாளர் வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார். அரசின் செயல்பாட்டின் மந்தநிலை மீனவர்களின் உயிர் பாதுகாப்பை கேள்விக்குறியாக்குகிறது எனவும் அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.
கடந்த சில மாதங்களாக தமிழக மீனவர்கள் மீது இலங்கை கடற்படையின் திடீர் துரத்தல், பிடித்தல் போன்ற செயல்கள் அதிகரித்து வருவதை மீனவர் சங்கங்கள் தொடர்ந்து கவலைக்கிடம் கொண்டுள்ளன.
Tamil Nadu fishermen have once again been arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy in what has been described as an inhumane and unlawful manner. The detained fishermen have reportedly been kept in custody in Sri Lanka.
Condemning the incident, the AIADMK leader urged the Central Government to take immediate diplomatic action to secure the release and ensure the safety of Indian fishermen. He criticized the government’s slow response, stating it puts the lives of fishermen at serious risk.
Fishermen groups have expressed growing concern over the increasing incidents of harassment and arrests by the Sri Lankan Navy in recent months.
