விழுப்புரம் மாவட்டத்தில் தொடர்ந்து பெய்து வரும் கனமழையால், இன்றைய தினம் பள்ளிகளுக்கு மட்டும் விடுமுறை அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. காலை நேரத்திலேயே பல பகுதிகளில் மழை தீவிரமடைந்ததால், மாணவர்கள் பாதுகாப்பை கருத்தில் கொண்டு இந்த முடிவு எடுக்கப்பட்டது.
மழையால் சாலைகள் பல இடங்களில் நீரில் மூழ்கியுள்ளதால், போக்குவரத்திலும் சிரமம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. பெற்றோர்கள், மாணவர்கள் எச்சரிக்கை முன்னெச்சரிக்கை நடவடிக்கைகளை கடைபிடிக்க மாவட்ட நிர்வாகம் அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளது.
Due to continuous heavy rainfall in Villupuram district, all schools have been given a holiday today. The decision was taken considering the safety of students as rainfall intensified early in the morning.
Several roads were waterlogged across the district, causing traffic disruptions. District authorities have urged parents and students to stay cautious and follow safety guidelines during the adverse weather conditions.
