கூட்டாட்சி விவசாயத் திட்டங்களின் கீழ் மாநிலத்துக்கு வழங்கப்பட்ட 75 கோடி ரூபாய் நிதியில் பெரும் முறைகேடு நடந்ததாக விசாரணையில் வெளிச்சம் பார்த்துள்ளது. தோட்டக்கலைத் துறைக்கான நிதி தவறாக பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டதாக குற்றச்சாட்டுகள் எழுந்துள்ளன.
வீடியோ எடிட்டிங் உள்ளிட்ட வெளிப்புற செலவுகளுக்குப் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டதாகவும், உண்மையான விவசாய செயல்களுக்கு செலவிடப்படவில்லை என்றும் அதிகாரிகள் முதற்கட்ட அறிக்கையில் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
இந்த விவகாரம் தொடர்பாக மேலதிக விசாரணை நடைபெற்று வருவதால், மாநில அளவிலான கண்காணிப்பு அதிகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
A financial investigation has reportedly exposed a ₹75-crore scam in funds allotted under central agricultural schemes to the state horticulture department. Preliminary findings suggest that a significant portion of this allocation was misused instead of being spent on legitimate farming development activities.
Audit sources indicate that the money was diverted toward unrelated external expenses, including digital and media services, raising concerns about transparency.
Further inquiry is underway, and senior officials are expected to submit a detailed report as monitoring over the scheme has now been tightened.
