இந்தியா எப்போதும் ஜனநாயகத்தை போற்றும் நாடாக இருந்து வருகிறது என்று பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி கூறினார். 2025 டிசம்பர் 1 அன்று டெல்லியில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்வில் அவர் இதை வலியுறுத்தினார்.
நாட்டின் வளர்ச்சி பாதையில் ஜனநாயக மதிப்புகள் அடிப்படையாக இருப்பதாகவும், மக்களின் கருத்து மற்றும் பங்களிப்பு அரசியல் முடிவுகளில் முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கிறது என்றும் பிரதமர் தெரிவித்தார்.
நாடாளுமன்றம் மற்றும் அரசமைப்பு அமைப்புகள் வலுப்பெறுவதன் மூலம் இந்தியாவின் ஜனநாயக மரபு மேலும் உறுதியாகும் எனவும் அவர் கூறினார்.
India has always been a nation that upholds democratic values, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on December 1, 2025, in New Delhi. He highlighted that democracy remains the foundation of India’s governance system.
The Prime Minister noted that people’s participation and public opinion play a key role in shaping policies and decisions. He added that inclusive governance strengthens trust in the democratic process.
He also stated that strong institutions like Parliament and constitutional bodies ensure the continuity and strength of India’s democratic tradition.
