தமிழ்நாடு–காசி இடையிலான தொன்மையான பண்பாட்டு உறவை கொண்டாடும் நிகழ்வு | Event celebrates the ancient cultural bond between Tamil Nadu and Kashi
2025 டிசம்பர் 3ஆம் தேதி, உத்தரப் பிரதேச மாநிலம் வாரணாசியில் ‘காசி – தமிழ் சங்கமம் 4.0’ நிகழ்வு அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக தொடங்கியது. தமிழ்நாடு மற்றும் காசி இடையிலான ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளாக தொடரும் பண்பாட்டு, ஆன்மிக தொடர்புகளை வலுப்படுத்தும் நோக்கில் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்தப்படுகிறது.
இந்தாண்டு சங்கமத்தில் ‘தமிழ் கற்போம்’ என்ற கருப்பொருளின் கீழ் 16 நாட்கள் பல்வேறு குழுக்கள் பங்கேற்கின்றன. இலக்கியம், தத்துவம், இசை, நடனம், கலை, கல்வி மற்றும் ஆன்மிகம் ஆகிய துறைகளில் தமிழர் மரபை வெளிப்படுத்தும் நிகழ்ச்சிகள் திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளன.
தமிழ்நாட்டில் இருந்து மாணவர்கள், ஆசிரியர்கள், கலைஞர்கள், எழுத்தாளர்கள் மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் பங்கேற்று, காசியின் வரலாற்று மற்றும் ஆன்மிக முக்கியத்துவத்தை நேரடியாக அறியும் வாய்ப்பை பெறுகின்றனர். இதன் மூலம் இரு பகுதிகளுக்கிடையிலான பண்பாட்டு இணைப்பு மேலும் வலுப்படும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
On December 3, 2025, the ‘Kashi–Tamil Sangamam 4.0’ was officially inaugurated in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The event aims to strengthen the centuries-old cultural and spiritual ties between Tamil Nadu and the ancient city of Kashi.
This year’s edition is organised under the theme “Tamil Karpom” (Let us learn Tamil), with programmes scheduled over 16 days. Events highlighting Tamil literature, philosophy, music, dance, art, education, and spirituality have been planned.
Students, teachers, artists, writers, and researchers from Tamil Nadu are participating in the programme, gaining first-hand exposure to the historical and spiritual significance of Kashi. The initiative is expected to further deepen cultural understanding and people-to-people connections between the two regions.
